LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench, ® ) is a development
environment based on graphical programming.
LabVIEW uses terminology, icons, and ideas familiar to technicians, scientists, and engineers, and relies on graphical symbols rather than textual language to describe programming actions.
To make procedures to control and test various kinds of laboratory systems.
ERDAS Imagine 8.0
software
ERDAS IMAGINE (® ERDAS Inc.) is a comprehensive image processing software package. It can combine different types of geographic data with imagery and organize
all data into a mapping project. Fully compatible with ESRI products.
For remote sensing and complex image analysis, mosaicking tools, including color balancing, image interpretation functions and orthorectification capabilities.
Arc/Info 8.1
software

ArcInfo is a powerful software product that allows the user to access, display, analyze, manage and return geographical data.
ArcInfo
manages vector data, raster images (photos, documents or satellite images), sounds, movie clips and attributes data in a single integrated environment.

Creation and analysis of Digital Elevation Models (DEM), data conversion, retrieving of morphometric parameters, geocoding of topographic maps and statistic analysis.

ArcGIS 9.1 (© ESRI) software Complete professional GIS software maked up of three different tools: ArcMap, ArcCatalog and ArcToolBox. Provides an environment for performing geoprocessing operations. Accessing and managing geographic data. Displaying and querying maps, creating publications, developing custom map applications.

GAMMA

software
The GAMMA Software (© Copyrights Gamma Remote Sensing Research and Consulting AG, Thunstrasse 130, CH-3074 Muri BE) is a modular interferometric SAR tool. In the complete version it allows the RAW-to-SLC SAR data processing (MSP module), the interferogram generation (ISP), the differential interferogram calculation (DISP). Besides it generates Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) from SAR data (DISP)
The GAMMA Software is used to study the surface displacements due to natural events (earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides…). The available phase unwrapping tool allows to extract a 3D map of surface movements useful to perform geophysical models. Besides GAMMA is used to generate DEMs.
DIAPASON
software DIAPASON (© Copyrights CNES - CENTRE NATIONAL D'ÉTUDES SPATIALES, Toulouse, France) is an automated interferometric processing software that produces an amplitude image, an image of consistency of phases (coherence) and an image of phase differences (interferogram). The DIAPASON Software can be applied either to using RAW or SLC SAR data. It generates interferograms and, using an external DEM, the differential interferogram.

The DIAPASON is a simple-to-use and performing software for SAR interferometry applications. It is used to generate surface displacement maps from SAR data for geophysical studies, i.e. monitoring and studying earthquake effects and ground displacement.

Total Station Leica 'Wild' (*)

instrument
Surveying equipment, controlling the EDM (Electromagnetic Distance Measurement device), manipulating and storing the data, and measuring horizontal and vertical angles. It has an optical plumb for centering over a station and two levels. The EDM measures the slope distance to the reflector, and communicates the data to the theodolite. Topographic distance and height measurements for field validation of remote sensing morphotectonic interpretation.
Ground Penetrating Radar, 'SIR System-10B Manual'  (*)
instrument
The SIR GPR (Geophysical Survey System Inc.) is provided with three different antennas working in the 100, 300 and 400MHz frequencies. Geophysical subsoil investigations for field validation of remote sensing active fault identification.
Electrical Resistivymeter 'SYSCAL R2' (Iris Instruments) (*)
instrument
The 'SYSCAL R2' is a high-power fully automatic resistivymeter for DC electrical surveys applied to groundwater exploration, environmental studies and structural geology investigation. It allows a ground resistance measurement from 0.1 to 1000 KOhm, a voltage resolution of 1 microVolt and a chargeability resolution of 0.1 mV/V. Geophysical subsoil investigations for field validation of remote sensing active fault identification.
Hand Portable FT-IR Spectrometer Model 102F
instrument
Model 102 Field and Industrial FT-IR Spectrometer (Designs & Prototypes, LTD) works in 0.8-25 micrometers wavelength ranges, 2-16 wavenumbers spectral resolution. It is provided of liquid nitrogen cooled dual InSb/MCT detector, optical/electronic module with interferometer, drive & sampling electronics and èrocessing spftware. Geophysical ground investigations in the Thermal InfraRed region (8-12 micrometers) with the aim to obtain thermal and lythological maps and measure emissivity spectrum.
AVHRR (Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer) sensor instrument A receiving station contains the modules necessary to the acquisition, processing and archiving of the AVHRR remote sensed data. Its setup consist of a parabolic dish antenna, a satellite signal receiver (a dome with 56 cm of diameter and 68 cm heights, a 91 cm height shaft, for a 161 cm of total height), a SW dedicated to the managing of the data acquisition plan, a GPS station and a clock device for the scheduling of the data process and archive. The AVHRR is a radiation-detection imager that can be used for remotely determining the surface temperature. This scanning radiometer uses 6 detectors that collect different bands of radiation wavelengths, as shown below, ranging from 0.58 ?m up to 12.4 ?m.
Measuring the same view, this array of diverse wavelengths, after processing, permits multi spectral analysis for more precisely defining of different geophisical parameters.
Field Spec instrument The FieldSpec Pro is a highly portable, general purpose spectroradiometer useful in many applications requiring either the absolute or relative measurement of light energy. Field spec measurement are oerformed n order to obtain in situ or laboratory hyperspectral data to use as ground truth necessary during validation of remote sensed images.
